The Gospel of John 45 Isaiahs Prophecy Fulfilled Jesus spoke these things and went away and hid from them. 37 But though He had performed so many miraculous signs in their presence they did not believe in Him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet which He spoke Lord who has believed our report And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed 39 The reason they were unable to believe is because Isaiah said again 40 He has blinded their eyes And hardened their hearts So that they would not see with their eyes Nor understand with their hearts And be converted And I would heal them. 41 Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory and spoke about Him. 42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him so they wouldnt be barred from the synagogue. 43 For they loved praise from men more than praise from God. Darkness and Light 44 But Jesus cried out and said Whoever believes in Me believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And whoever sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world so that no one who believes in Me would remain in darkness. 47 And if someone hears My words and doesnt believe I dont judge him because I didnt come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 Whoever rejects Me and doesnt accept My sayings has his judge the word which I have spoken will judge him on the Last Day. 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority but the Father who sent Me He gave Me a command what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is eternal life. So the things which I speak just as the Father has told Me so I speak.
